What is it about the fluffy cuteness of baby chicks? These girls haven’t entered their awkward “teenage stage” yet where feathers are changing from soft and downy to awkwardly large and stiff. In a few months, they’ll be ready to start laying precious “hen fruit” (as we call it) and I can hardly wait for them to lend a hand with cleaning up veggie scraps and garden clippings.
